Support HP Community

Highland Park Community Nursery School and Day Care Center (now doing business as HP Community) is a licensed, United Way sponsored, not-for-profit, early childhood program that offers high quality curricula facilitated by exceptional teachers. It is a special place that embraces diversity and believes every child deserves to thrive.

Now in its 65th year, Community’s long-standing presence in Highland Park is sustained through the support of individuals and businesses. On April 21, 2017, Community will hold its main fundraising event of the year, the Annual Spring Benefit. By making a tax-deductible donation to the benefit, you directly support Community. Your contribution of goods or a service is crucial to the success of our benefit. The proceeds from this fundraiser promote:

  • Tuition scholarships
  • Art and music enrichment programs
  • Staff professional development and training
  • Playground and classroom equipment

This year we increased our tuition assistance program to accommodate the growing financial support that families currently need. We hope that you will donate so that we can continue to raise revenue, especially for our scholarship program.

You can also support Community by making a tax-deductible financial contribution or by placing an advertisement in our program book. Please note that donations valued at $250 or more will receive a complimentary half-page advertisement in our program book. Program booklets are distributed to both benefit guests and the 100+ families enrolled at Community.

Your donation is a direct investment in children and the most powerful tool we can give them – education. We appreciate your consideration and hope you will support Community’s fundraising efforts. We ask that your contribution and/or ad be received no later than March 31st, 2017.
