Our Programs


All of Community’s programs include these noteworthy elements:

  • Exceptional, credentialed teachers and support staff
  • Implementation of a research-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum
  • Individual screenings, assessments and portfolios; regularly scheduled parent/teacher conferences
  • Resource referral by our regularly visiting social work consultant, as needed
  • Dedicated time with our art and music teachers who come into the classrooms weekly
  • Use of a well-developed outdoor play space complete with climber, outdoor classroom, raised gardens, sledding hill and outdoor equipment; use of our full-sized indoor gym
  • Healthy snacks and meals in accordance with national nutritional guidelines

 

Partial Day Programs

These programs are designed to give children a positive preschool experience in a play-based environment where they are cherished, cared for, and guided by a highly qualified, professional staff for part of the day (3.5 – 3.75 hours). To learn more, click here.

Full Day Programs

Whether attending full-time (5 days a week) or part-time (4 or fewer days per week), our full day (equal to or greater than 5 hours of care per day) program offers children care while also providing them with a preschool experience and programming in a play-based environment where they are cherished, cared for, and guided by a highly qualified, professional staff.  To learn more, click here.

Additional Programs

Early Morning Care (Enrollment Max/Min: 10/4) – Care is available from 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM for parents who need an earlier drop off.

School Age Programs

Beginning in the fall of 2019, HP Community is no longer offer school-aged programs, such as before-school or after-school care.  North Shore School District 112 has contracted Innovation Learning to provide both before-school and after-school programming at all elementary schools.
